Saving money is not fun

September 3rd, 2009 at 06:47 pm

Well, it has begun.. saving money and frugal spending. It feels like trying to cut back on french fries so far.
The benefits have not outweighed the pain!

hey, thanks! feels like a support group already. Broken arrow, yes will for sure be including some of these ideas I've gathered here when commenting about my business. Really that is where the savings are being implemented first.

Like with french fries, the effect is cumulative.

Welcome, and remember this is a marathon, not a sprint. Spending is like french fries - better you eat 1-2 fries per day to keep yourself from being deprived than an orgy of fries when you can't stand it any more.

Saving money is like any other good habit - it takes time but leads to some insurance of benefit down the road. Don't give up! Soon enough you will see things that make you glad you did it.
